Need Help?

I’m gathering anecdotes where something learned (and possibly initially disregarded) came back to be a useful skill. I want to demonstrate the value of subjects that seem abstract to kids in school. I hope that by showing practical, cool applications of those skills and knowledge, some students will buy in to their schoolwork and find some success where they might not have otherwise.
